Test Laboratory

Newton has a test laboratory equipped with all of the instrumentation necessary for performing routine acceptance testing as required by the applicable IEC or CEI standards. All transformers are inspected prior to shipment. An inspection report and a declaration of compliance are issued as per our internal Quality System procedures, according to ISO 9001:2000. Our instruments are periodically checked by third party calibration centres, as required by our company quality system. Furthermore, upon request, we are able to perform the following type tests and special tests:

• Temperature-rise test according to CEI EN 60076-2, ref. 5
• Noise level measurement according to CEI EN 60076-10
• Insulation test under impulse voltage according to CEI EN 60076-3, ref. 13
